easy, it is not a gen. 2.
the oil filter is on a different location, in the 4th generation 3SGTE. check out the photo, left along the catalyst you the oil filter. |

How did you shine up your alternator like that (and everything else)? Did you dismantle it and polish it? Reveal your secrets!

did most of that as it is in place, loads of people have asked me how i did it and really its quite easy.
wire brush on a drill attachment then lots of sandpaper and machine polishing. |

What do you use to keep it shiny? A Certain polish? The wire brush and sand paper I can do.

over the winter months ive not really kept it clean but i use autosol for the metal and other parts i just use general car cleaning stuff like on black bits i use tyre black stuff.
