Well I just bought her back with intentions on keeping her as my daily driver, but unfortunately money situations force the sale again of this VERY rare bird. I just bought it back 3 months ago but I realize now I shouldn't have because I cant afford her ugh Sad
The chassis has 190,0XX miles on it and the car is black/black So the story goes for those who are not familiar with this particular car. Its a 1994 Toyota Celica GT that has been fully converted to a ST205 back in 2004ish.The car has been converted to AWD using all factory components off a 1997 ST205 GT4 Celica WRC version from japan. It also has a FRESH Gen 3 motor(low mileage and good compression) the factory Air to water intercooler and CT20b turbo are still in place. This motor has NEVER been boosted past 1 bar since swapped in.here is a list of mods (but not limited to) below. 3rd gen 3SGTE engine and all wiring done 3rd gen LSD 5 speed transmission ST205 FULL Superstrut suspension <~~ many extra parts included ST205 LSD Rear diff/driveshaft/axles ST205 JDM Folding mirrors and Switch JDM Acura Integra Type R Recaro Seats (I think they are the JDM ones correct me if im wrong, black with RED stitching) 10 Gallon Fuel cell (gas tank doesnt fit with the rear end) <~ fills from stock location JZA80 (MKIV Supra) Fuel pump ST205 fuel system (550cc injectors and rail) ST205 Wing and ST205 Spoiler Posts ST205 Front end conversion (OEM Toyota ST205 bumper and hood/latch) ST205 JDM Tail lights Blitz Boost Controller (set at 0.9~1.0 bar, stock boost is 0.8~0.9 bar) Turbo Timer (forget what brand lol) 3" downpipe and custom 3" exhaust (still has stock 2.5" mid pipe/2 cats also included) Flexalite 220 Dual electric 12" fans (same ones commonly used on the MKIV supra) Spec Stage 2+ Clutch and Rebuildable Fidanza Flywheel (less than 2k miles) GAB 4 way adjustable Struts TRD Springs (.9~1.2 drop) RAYS 17" Bronze Grahm Lights <~ spelling? lol ST205 Factory Rear strut tower bar Blitz BOV Factory ST205 big brakes 4 pot in front 2 pot in back, I believe the rotors are 12.4" in the front and rears are 11ish " Apexi Boost and Oil pressure gauges (sweeping with controller) Im sure im missing a bunch of stuff lol ill update this when I think of other stuff. Recent maintenance Fresh tune up with NGK 6097 plugs gapped @ .030 New cap and Rotor, TRD plug wires Oil change less than 1k miles ago Newer Figure of 8 links (part of the superstrut suspension) Has almost brand new all season tires Radiator flush (with toyota red) Rebuilt Front CV Axles (lifetime warranty in Denver) Fuel filter Too much to list, please inquire for more details This is 1 of 2 known successful ST205 AWD conversions in the USA (that I know of) this car has been on the road for a OVER 20k miles after the conversion was done so she is good and tested with no issues! This swap was done correctly. This car has EASY 20k++ in parts plus the cost of the chassis. The car just got painted due to the front end parts were never painted since put on and the rear bumper was faded really bad. The fenders were replaced with aftermarket fenders because I had the hood propped up about 3 years ago and a gust of wind blew the hood off the prop and bent the tops of the fenders just a little bit, I have witnesses! (was NOT driving the car was sitting idle) hehe this car has NEVER been wrecked and I kept the OEM fenders for the new owner to see proof that it was NOT wrecked (VIN tags in place) The frame is straight and true and so is the radiator support. Honestly this car has proven to be reliable and quick, I daily drove her for over a year a few years back and ive been daily driving her for the last 2-3 months with no issues. Sux to sell her, I just bought her back with intentions of keeping her but after the paint and all the little things I fixed I just cant afford her. Just FYI I went 13.3 @99~100ish MPH @ bandimere on the stock turbo on pump with just AFC tuning 2-3 years ago with a 1.71 60' on all seasons. (this is at 5400 ft elevation, this is a SOLID 12 second car at sea level) She has a lot more potential in her if you want to make her fast! O ya the car just passed emissions with FLYING colors in colorado (have emission stub still) Clean title and carfax (I can provide the carfax) Little issues with the car: One of the folding mirrors doesnt move all the time (i think its sticking) The A/C works but one of the lines was removed by the previous owner (included and sorry I have no idea why it was removed but the AC did work!) Little wear on some items like the seats, nothing really bad. Few squeaks and rattles here and there yada yada. Scratch on the windshield Might be missing a factory plastic or two for the interior The transmission SOMETIMES will grind on the downshift into 4th only if in high rpms. This transmission has done this for over 10k miles and NEVER gotten worse (I never downshift at high rpms from 5th to 4th lol but I know it sometimes will do it) Really thats about it. O and why was the engine replaced? As far as I know the previous owner that I sold it to last time ran my race gas tune on pump and smoked a ring due to detonation. I compression tested this engine and its even accross the board ( I can redo to get exact #'s for a potential buyer ) The previous owner hardly drove this car, it still has the same tires on it when I sold it to him (still 80%+) And I took VERY good care of it. I am very knowledgeable in the celica community ( started with a 7AFTE back in 2001 lol) and with this setup and I promise you everything mechanically is in great shape except for anything that I stated above . I can tell any interested buyer any background about this car back to 2004, just let me know if you have any questions. PM me if you want my phone # to talk via phone. Also I have MANY MANY extra parts including multiple extra gen 3 blocks etc etc etc! O Im posting pics as we speak. these pics were taken TODAY 02-07-09 right after she got out of the paint shop (cant wash or wax it yet so its a little dusty) and im letting the spoiler and spoiler blocks CURE before I put them on so there is no chance for the paint to crack so these pics are wingless for now Wink interior pics will follow in the next 2 days when I get her shined up. thanks for looking, PLEASE put this to a GOOD Responsible home please! $9k FIRM through the end of april or I keep it and build it lol Please feel free to PM me or post any questions here. ~Kostas and PLEASE if you dont have something good to say about my price etc PLEASE DONT SAY IT! please keep the thread clean! good luck with the sale but as for being a 12 second car at sea level....no no. I ran a 13.1 second 1/4 mile at 5800 ft elevation (I thought it was 5400, but NHRA website says bandimere is 5800ft), I have a time slip to prove it and witness's so please keep the uneducated comments to yourself. Here is some education for you about altitude. we run almost a full second slower up here on N/A cars. As stated my NHRA a N/A car correction is to multiply your 1/4 mile time by 0.9276, and to cut the correction in HALF for a turbo or supercharged car. so... 1.0 - .9276 = 0.0724 / 2 = 0.0362 as the 1/2 correction stated to use on NHRA's site for a boosted car. so 1.0 - .0362 = 0.9638 means you multiply my time 13.1 * 0.9638 = 12.625. Same reason why all of our dynos use SAE corrected #'s here. thanks for your input tho. here is the link so you can read it yourself. http://www.nhra.com/competition/altitude.aspx NOTE: Supercharged and/or turbocharged cars (i.e.: AA/A, AA/AT, BB/A, BB/AT, A/PM and AA/PM) use half factor; TA/D and TA/FC cars are not factored. im simply stating that a stock gtfour wont run a 12, yours isnt a GT-Four though, prehaps your chassis is lighter. Had it on a weigh bridge by any chance?
13.1 is a pretty good time for the mph, 60 foot isnt bad either. having owned 3 gtfours inc the 205 i currently own i think i have a bit of knowledge on the subject. The altitude really does take a tole on cars lol.. specially when i drive from where i am up there an just keep feeling it get worse and worse till i actually get there. But good luck on the sale. it is a really nice car. An hopefully it goes to a good owner. to bad i couldn't just take all the set up and just put it on my celica haha. Good luck man.

Is this still titled as a 1994 GT? Anyone looked at importing it into Canada already?

i dont think importing it into canada should be a problem. it should still have the original model on the title. it's a beautiful car done up right. GL with the sale bro.
