I've had many requests to arrange a group buy for the OEM ST205 Style Carbon Fiber hood.
All hoods are made from a single sheet of tightly woven carbon fibre which is woven on site to ensure consistency and quality. The material used is High Quality 3K twill carbon fibre fabric, 2*2, 200g/m2 with multi-layer UV coating protection with a built in E frame and fiberglass undertray. They are all meshed through out and have bonnet catches installed along with marked pre drilled washer jet holes. They will not fade as they do not contain any organic materials. I retail the GT4 hoods in the UK for £450. If we can get 10 or more we're going to sell the hoods for £360 plus postage (£100 USA and Canada or £80 anywhere in Europe) in hope that people will be happy with RTP products. Thats half the price of a branded hood. However this offer cannot be offered to UK and Ireland customers. I accept paypal but you'd need to pay the 4% charge on top of the hood and postage, or you can send it as a gift but do email me your details. I also accept TT transfer or bankers cheques and the hoods will be send once its cleared. I offer a 6 months manufacture garantee based on fair wear and tear or refund withing 14 days prior to fitting. Normal road use detioration such as stone chips do not count. Drilling or painting or any modding of the hood voids the garantee and because the hoods contain no organic materials, its non-bio deteriatable and will not turn green or fade in the sun. All the hood are treated with 15 layers of UV lacquer laqer. As these where intended for the ST205 GT-Fours, they will have a small gap on the front where its raised on the hood if you intend to fit it on a non turbo 6G. Quite a lot of people quite like this gap as it acts as a vent but what it also means is that you will need a GT4 latch which you can get from your local toyota dealer as the GT4 latch is a bit longer. These hoods are unbranded and are from from my own company RT-Performance which is due to launch in the next 2 months. I sell other hoods as well as ST205 hoods. Do take a look at my photobucket pictures to see what I have in stock. http://s417.photobucket.com/albums/pp253/y...s%20OCT%202008/ Here are some picures of my hood on my car and as you can see the quality is flawless. As they are fresh from the box: I dont ask for payment untill it arrives to me and that I've checked every item and all tax paid for in the UK and ready to be sent out. Unfortunately I've not found a US rep for RTP and cant send direct from the states yet. I will be placing an order at the end of March and it takes 2 months for it to arrive to me in the UK then I'll dispatch it straight to you. This means you can put your name down now and still have time to save up. Please start the list by putting down your name and country. Any questions please feel free to ask me. Many thanks Ray This post has been edited by yellowchinaman: Apr 1, 2009 - 4:09 AM |

YCM;
Because these are custom bonnets; would it be possible to have them pre-drill the holes for the WRC bonnet wing as well? Total price and shipping to T4B 2V4 Alberta, Canada please. I am VERY INTERESTED! -------------------- |

So, this is a gt4 look alike hood that fits both gt4 bumpers and prefacelift/facelift bumpers?.... its a 205 hood replica. it will fit 202/204, but there will be a gap where the hood meets the bumper. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

I am VERY INTERESTED! Hi Kaos. If you put your self down on a list first, what I'd like to do is call my courier service and give them a list of destinations as to where I'm sending the hood t so they can give me a list of prices rather then calling them one at a time, each time giving my details, sizes, weight of my parcel and then your details. If its ok with you can I put you down for now like so: 1)Kaos, Canada and later in stage I'll update it when I have a few numbers like so: 1)Kaos, Canada £80pp 2)etc. 3)etc. After giving you a price if you're not happy with the postage cost you can always take your name off. Regarding the WRC holes, because these are not custom jobs. (I have these mass manufactured) I cant get them predrilled with the spoiler holes but what they do come with is a small dimple mark to indicate where the holes should be so you can drill it. People have asked me about drilling and its actually quite easy. Mask the hole with masking tape. Drill it using a HSS drill bit and allow the drill bit to cut through and not push it down. HTH. ps. If people are uncomfortable calling me YCH. Just call me Ray. |

Could you give me a postage cost to Oak Ridge, TN 37830 Business address (so it should be a little cheaper, we have a loading dock and fork truck). Thanks -------------------- |

Hi All.
I have prices. Delivery to the entire USA and Canada will cost 100GBP. Delivery to Europe will cost 80GBP. As for the price of the hoods, its £450. If I can get 5 or more I can sell them for £420. 10 or more I can do it for £380. I hope you're pleased with this and can start the list. Ray |

I've been discussing this offer with my parter at RTP because I personally think that if if you're in the US or Canada you don't save that much compared to the leading brands.
If you live in the UK its a good deal because postage is only £50 meaning your total cost can be just over £400. So what we've deciced is providing that if we can get 10 or more we're going to sell the hoods for £360 plus postage (£100 USA and Canada or £80 anywhere in Europe) in hope that people will be happy with RTP products. However this offer cannot be offered to UK and Ireland customers. Ray |

I talked it over with the wife and she gave me a big fat no lol....... I wanted this too. Im kinda stupid so bare with me are the costs here in pounds or euro lol GBP - Great Britain Pounds. I was confused at first until Ray clarified that in a recent post. Ray I will need some time to go through my inventory and try to sell off some car parts for this buy, because I want it. I have the cash, but unfortunately we (the better-half and I) just bought a house and now we're trying to plan a destination wedding in the Mayan Riviera (Mexico). So if I want new car parts, I have to look at selling my old ones first... lol. This post has been edited by KAOS: Mar 4, 2009 - 9:37 AM -------------------- |

lol. thats ok people.
This is an offer which is so close to the cost price and I doubt I can do this again I'll be ordering 20 hoods. 10 to keep in stock for RTP. The rest is practically a give away. We think of it as a launch promotion to increase awareness but I can only do it if I get 10. Its worth putting your name down now if you think you cant afford it now but can later on because I wont be asking for any money till 2 months time for when the container arrives to the UK. |
