You cant beat those intercoolers for the money. They also make installation with the gt4 foglights a lot easier.

in fabbed up my new intercooler piping today, and mounted the intercooler, just a quick pic for now, the piping is out for coating and will be back tommorow night, will post better pics when it gets back.





the 2 peice hotpipe:



i forgot to snap some good pics of the 2 cold pipes, ill get better ones tommorow of both before and after installation. smile.gif

nothing special, just some powder coat to make it look good.
i cant afford stainless piping right now, and my old piping show no signs of rust after almost 4 years, so i went with the aluminized piping again. my cousin has a buddy who hooked us up with the free powder coating work, so i wasnt about to say no..lol

I second that. Charge piping that is welded together with minimum couplers look damn good. Since you are getting the piping powder coating for free, why not get the valve cover done too? It would go well with each other. What color are you going with?

it's also better for flow. since most times the pipes aren't mated perfectly together inside the coupler it will cause turbulence because it is not a smooth path for the air to go through.

with your abilities, why didnt you clock the turbo down so you can avoid the pipe over the engine?
