Truly amazing results. It has me scratching my head given the fact that after being available for 14 years, the best ct20b dyno over on mr2oc is 316whp. Do we chalk this result up to intercooling? Any possibility of a chipped ECU or modified stock turbo?

If you look over at the mr2 guys and over at our own little 3sgte scene, you'll notice that we almost always make more power then they do with the same mods. There are two reasons for this.
1. Better intercooling. We can fit huge front mounts, or topmounts that work properly, while most of those guys are stuck with tiny side mounts that cant compete with our cooling.
2. There is a difference between the mr2 and the alltrac ecu in terms of tuning. There is actually a book out about tuning that goes into detail how the mr2 ecu's get less aggressive tunes then the alltrac does.

thank you Martin, you have been a great friend though the years smile.gif

UPDATE

Water Injection

and some pics of how I installed

I used the Devil's Own water injection system with a 3gph outside mounted nozzle, mounted, tapped into the 3s throttle body

flash off

flash on

and I put the pump into the bay, on the frame rail, 2 pics

I wired the WI relay into the relay box in a relay spot that wasn't used anymore to hide and keep the wiring clean. Then mounted the 2 gallon tank in the bay, with a custom bracket.

I was also cool enough to put an LED next to my boost gauge to let me know when the WI was activated (thanks for idea Art wink.gif ).

^^ It's pretty lean at idle (15.3-16.6)

green = go faster.

next is a new muffler, more info on that in the next few weeks.

better daylight pics tomorrow of the bay and the routing.

Could you talk about the reasons for the nozzle placement. I don't know the advantages that come with placing it so close to the tb, I have mine like 7 inches from it, so I'd like to know if there is a more ideal spot.

its the only spot he has for it with the w2a ic.

the farther you place it from the TB the more cooling effect you get from the water.

ok so I protected the WI line today.

I used a hose (actually a goodyear rubber fuel line hose - 1/4in ID) and managed to slip it over the WI line to help prevent rubbing and any sort of failure from heat.

couple of phone pics

my WI line is now protected Art smile.gif
