I have a 5S with the coil built in with the dizzy and I want to upgrade my ignition system. I wanted to go with an external coil but can't find a dizzy cap with the 5th hole for the coil wire. Anybody know how this can be done? Obviously I need a cap that fits like the stock cap made for coil in dizzy - can't find one anywhere - was trying to upgrade to the Nology ProFire M70 external coil.

you'd need to swap to california emmssions electronics, to get the external coil the california emmissions cars came with
you'd need the distributor, harness, ecu, coil and prolly a few other things from a cali spec 5s to make it work.
besides, if your sub 300whp you dont need anything more than the stock ignition components will provide.

Alright - that's the answer I was looking for. Right now I'm probably at about 200HP with plans for future boost. Mine is a fed emissions so I don't think I'd want to swap to the more restrictive Cali emmisions. Thanks Presure2!! thumbsup.gif
