They gave me some BKR63GP Platinum plugs..
Spark Plugs that I have Would these be fine to put in my car until the next oil change? So approx. 3-4 months Should I just return them and get the BKR7E plugs? Thanks, -Toni -------------------- |

I'd take them back - someone else step in and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe stock plug on the 1.8 is the NGK BKR5*** plugs. Crucial to install the proper heat range. The BKR6 series is for the 2.2 GT.

I probably should have mentioned what engine I've got..

OK - sounds more like it. Yeah - those will work just fine - the BKR6 series is the correct plug for the 3S-GTE.

but its a platinum plug?? from previous research the bkr7es was the best plug for a 3s running over 12 psi...

as you increase boost you have to go colder so you would want the 7e above 12 lbs... otherwise you risk detonation and knock
