i have the trd coilover kit on my gt4 st205 and the front shocker insert cartrage is away. now ive found on the trd parts site the part number for the insert i need is 48511-ST050 i called fensport uk dealer and they will take 2-3 months to arrive or cost me £80-90 to be air shipped and still take over a week or 2 to arrive.
now ive searched and found some people talking about kyb inserts for the trd shockers now does anyone have a part number that fits the shockers? any help much appreciated MOT due tomorow and if they notice the leak then ill have to take the car off the road till i get this sorted. and i dont want it off the road for 2-3 months... |

Tokico also OEM inserts for TRD and is much much better than KYB. I suggest you find a pair os 2nd hand original ones and wait for the TRD shipping to you. I had used the KYB absorber set and also the KYB inserts before, the KYB set are not much better than the original, the KYB inserts even much worse, they are very easy to leak oil! I am now using the TRD insert OEM by Tokico and I also modified the outer cartrige to house an new insert with more stoke, the performance is excellent even if I use front 10K and rear 8K spring. |
