i have a 94 celica st 5sp. i think the speedometer is saying im going faster than what i am. at 3k rpm it says im doing about 73mph. does that sound right? i have 205/60-14 on it so that might throw it off a little

tire size does play a big roll in what your speedo reads. if the aspect ratio of the tire is correct for a +1 or -1 then the speedo should be almost perfect.

is that what your speedometer reads at 3k? its like around 2200 RPM at 60 mph

Impossible, when i had my st 60 mph is pretty high rpm with the gearing in the tranny the way it is.
i remember 80 being a little over 4K rpm.
