I might agree wit the first half: 7AFE but it's stick! I can tell THAT difference
Is there a way how to look up the engine based on its number? This post has been edited by conus00: Apr 24, 2009 - 11:37 PM -------------------- '94 ST

then its a trick, none of them are 7A's..unless the last one is, I can't tell from the pic. I knew what you were getting at before the pics, I just wanted to play your game. yes, the last one is mine before i put on the header to the OP, there is a VIN plate on the engine itself. its below cylinder 4 above the oil pan and right next to the trans bell housing. and while you're looking, if you see a 2 part oil pan (steel lower pan and aluminum upper pan) then its a 7A-FE. thats pretty much what seperates the 7A-FE from the other xA-Fx engines. -------------------- |

whether or not it's a 7afe or 4afe, they're both slow as hell in any form without a turbo or other fun stuff like that
