As stated in the previous post, from what I can see, it's coming from the oil pump seal. As far as the car getting you from point A to point B, it was my daily driver until I garaged it last summer. It never left me stranded anywhere, even during the hot months of summer...no over heating, never a major problem.

justin, you should just fix the seal yourself.
its a quite a bit of work, but at least you'd be able to sell it as a solid running car, especially if you do the timing belt as well (which is a given, you need to pull the belt to get the oil pump off.)

If someone was truely interested in it, I would have no problem fixing it before it left my hands. I just don't know if I will get to put it on the road this summer like I had hoped....School/Work/an Hour away kills me. But if I do find time to drive it this summer, I'll be fixing it.

I may be interested in this as a whole, do you have an estimate how much the oil leak may cost, i live in detroit but im willing to make a roadtrip for my first 6gc

Oil leak I believe is coming from the oil pump seal. Depends if you do it yourself or not, but that's the leak. Don't know if the car can drive to detroit with the leak.

If you can fix the oil leak so it is driveable i can def get this... i was going to drive to kentucky to buy a stock celica yesterday, please lmk i want to buy a car within the next week or so, i have 3.3k atm ( **** prom so expensive, wish my parents had money)

Other than the oil leak have you started the car recently or driven it, and how has it been running.
I would really like to know as much as possible because i dont wnat to spend 120$ in gas to drive out there/back and be dissappointed

Price drop to 3500. The turbo kit alone is worth 2k.

Mission Hill FTW!...I drive the car every month or so. might need some new spark plugs but other than that, it's good to go. Car is actually in my garage at home south of here. I usually do a little work/cleaning/replacing random things every time I go home, so it hasn't really been sitting. It's also started at least once a week while I'm here in Boston.

Id rather see it go as a whole right now. If no one takes it at this price, I may part out.
