Anyone got any tips on adjusting it? I guess you just loosen it off abit then turn and tighten it up?

no, its not as easy as just moving it around. ideally you want to remove the TPS from the Throttle body, take the whole throttle body off the car. ***The TPS is in closed loop when the car is idling****. As soon as the throttle plate is touched the TPS goes from closed loop to reading resistance. You need to visually adjust it to meet these parameters, otherwise your car will end up running worse if you just fiddle with it. You can do it while it is on the car with a multimeter as well, but it is not as easy, I suggest taking it off the car and adjusting it...
