Hi guys..

I want a opinion... what do you say about this manifold????..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-3SGTE-3...%3A1|240%3A1318

and to fit a T3 flange turbo, with this adaptor of the same brand: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Flange-...sQ5fAccessories

The T3 turbo in question could be the GT3071R, GT3076R or the GT3582R... anyone of these in .78 A/R Twin-Scroll...

What do you think about this manifold for anyone of these??... or in any way the full-race manifold would be better???

Grettings..

Miguel...

Everywhere I've seen someone asking about manifolds for the 3rd gen have always got the same answer....stay stock unless you are pushing big HP. I guess the 3sgte is great at breaking these cheap ones. If you want to upgrade expect to spend big money. All the aftermarket manifolds I've seen (aussie, c-one) are around a grand. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure stock will be just fine.

It's because he wanna put a new turbo, this manifold would be great, especially for a external wastegate. I love the design

thats made for an mr2, yes the flange patturn is the same, but thats a high mount setup and i dont reckon you will have enough bonnet clearance.

plus the wall thickness is only 1.6mm and many people (including a mate of mine) have experienced cracking and sagging of these type of manifolds.

if you want something decent that will last get a steampipe one made. From a proper fabricator, not a "look at this shiny manifold on ebay place".

So.... in that case... the full-race manifold it's a better choice???..

To fabricate a custom downpipe here in my country it's very difficult... no one does it with quality and good look... principally in stainless still..

the full race manifold is hands down the best manifold out the for a 3s, and the price refects that.

Ok... but looking in the full-race page: http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_i...products_id=484

I found this manifold aren't for twin-scroll turbos... it's only for single-scroll... right???..

They have one for twin-scroll.. but for gen 2 3S-GTE only...

In supose to I stay and use my OEM manifold... I can use with this adaptor: http://www.berktechnology.com/shop/product...29&P_ID=418

But... I can use with the oem manifold + the Berk Adaptor on a Twin-Scroll Turbo or not???... I wanna use something like this turbo (twin-scroll): http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=1736
