FINALLY, after 9 years of rolling on 15" quality Mille Miglia Evos, on two different 6th Gens (see profile), I treated myself to another fine Italian-made (not made in China thank god) rim, the O.Z. Palladios in 17" size. Yes, they are not quite performance or racing due to sort of weighty, but they are definitelty HOTT IMO. I've conceded that I am not doing any engine swap and turbo, so I'm fine with it. And I know I only have the splitters on, but I do have OEM sideskirts chillin in the garage, but they are on hold till I repaint the car in a year or two. Finally, I did go up a little on the tire size instead of what Tirerack recommends, so I got 215/45s instead of the proper plus up - 215/40s. I do plan to get my speedometer recalibrated. I think I am doing about 4 mph faster than the speedometer says at 60 mph. I've gone from one mile marker to the other in about 55-56 seconds at 60 mph.

Glad to be posting on here again. I became a new daddy at the end of 2008, so Celica has not got much attention till now, but still in the game of course!

Enjoy the pics! P.S. Also repainted calipers to, which I can see a lot more now with the bigger wheels!

Thanks for taking a peek. One other thing I wanted to ask...looking at my pictures, do you REALLY think the car looks that bad with JUST the splitters and no sideskirts on?? I know it seems like a "no no", but I still think it does not look horrible. wink.gif

those splitters are not too aggressive so you can kind of get away with it, but the skirts would make it SOOO much nicer, as well as rear extentions

wheels look nice
