school starts august 22 for me and i will be up there a little earlier, if it is a weekend i can probably come down for it, im only an hour and half away...just keep me updated

Yeah, it'll be on a weekend. Not 100% which one in Sep, but either mid or late. I'll let you know when and where when I find out for sure, shouldnt be too far from now.

I've got Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off this upcoming week (23rd 24th 25th). I may be busy Tuesday but hopefully I'll be good Wednesday and Thursday for a mini meet up somewhere. I'll keep an eye on this more often as I haven't been lately

Ok, this thing has gotten way too big. 13 pages of replies....anyways.
So, as some of you may know we've been trying to get some good sized meets going on, but for whatever reason, only 3 of us show up. And its the same 3 all the time. In an effort to get a larger group together, it has been suggested to have an all gen celica meet (or any toyota for that matter). Ive been working on this, and just resent a bunch of invites. The location is TBD still, was thinking about reserving a spot at Lake Worth, but if I cant get enough interest, im not dropping the cash on it. Akira said something about how Arlington would be ok, as we have some members in Dallas, and that it would make it easier for them to get to the meet (although I dont know how many times I drove to grapevine). So, since the location is still in the air, if anyone knows of a good place that we could meet up in Arlington, let me know. I really want to have a location picked out by the end of this month. And since the guys at 6GC are putting this together, I want us to represent.
So PM me, or call me if you have my number.

Got the PM about the 26th, I'm not 100% sure if I can make it at this point, but I probably can.

As long as there are more 6gen than the other ones, I'll be fine. Hopefully you can make it. I'll PM you by the end of this month on the times/location

hey guys, sorry i haven't replied about this lately, but my schedule is up and down alot, so If you guys set a date then i will come if i'm not obligated to do anything else. I vote for Arlington by the way. We can meet at Vandegriff park in Arlington then go out to like Wingstop or something for food. I don't mind driving any where within DFW, but I prefer Arlington.

Yeah, the date is Def going to be 26SEP09. The more I look at it, im leaning towards Arlington as well, meeting at one of the parks.

Sorry haven't been keeping up with this like I said I would. Anyways, 26th of September sounds like it could work out for me if all goes well with my hip bs that is still ongoing. I'll be sure to keep you or dillon updated on it all but hopefully it will be healed up and what not.

Ok, so on Sunday im going to check out some places at Arlington. If anyone can think of anywhere in that area that would suffice to hold a meet, lemme know. BTW, be on the lookout for some type of information regarding this meet. It should be getting to you by the end of this month (that should give everyone ample time to try to be there!).

Oh yeah - i forgot Vangegriff is under construction. I cat eat any where whether it be McDonalds, or Red Lobster. Hmm - How about the Costco parking lot off of Arbrook and Matlock. Or maybe the asian shopping center parking lot off of Great Southwest and Pioneer - THey have good pretty good asian food there and cheap. For about $40 feeds 7 at Bistro B.

Ok, so I checked out Bowman Springs Park. I think it would be a good place to meet up at. Tons of parking (some of it right on the waterfront). Chill there for a bit then cruise to Bone Daddys (or some other food place in that spot) to grab some food. Thats about a 15 min drive, so its not that bad. Hang out there for a while and then...well, dunno yet about after. I kinda figure that most people will bail after eating, but Im still looking for a fun road to drive afterwards, then go do that, find a spot, hang there for a sec then roll on home. Any suggestions, feel free to throw them out there.

Thanks to ATS Racing and all of the board vendor sponsorship we gladly are holding the North American 2009 MR2/Alltrac meet on September 24th to the 27th in and around Denton, TX. We welcome any and all MR2's and Alltrac's that can make the trek. This is a meet that spans over the course of 3 days with different events happening on those days. There will be dyno sessions, drag racing, road course racing, night cruises, and a show n shine comp that everyone is welcome to partake in. To attend this meet will be a $20 fee per person for ALL attendants (Still working on the registration site for this).

The itinerary for this event is as following:

Thursday 24th:

Day at the lake
ATS has around 10 stand up jet skis for those that are will to try.

Friday 25th:

9:00a.m. till 4:00p.m. -- DYNO DAY with TUNING at ATS

You will need an appointment. This is more of a tweaking than a tuning session.
Expect a MAXIMUM of 1 hour per car so that we can help as many people as possible.
Cost - $50

**Aaron or I will be making up a schedule for this that will have the blocks available for purchase.
Once paid for, the name will be added to the schedule and posted here. With that in mind,
we will have an hour tune/tweak and then a 30 minute time between to unload that and and strap up the next one and hook it up, etc.
That leaves only around 6 maaaayybe 7 blocks (big maybe) available and once they are gone, they're gone.


6:00pm till late -- Drag Racing at Northstar Dragway

This is an 1/8th mile track only and there are no safety requirements other than seatbelts, a helmet, sleeved t-shirts and long pants.

9:00am - 6:00pm -- track day @ Eagles Canyon and then Show 'n Shine/Awards Banquet to follow
Track day - $165 per person.
The $165 DOES include an instruction until you are declared "qualified" to lap Eagles Canyon solo.

Sunday 27th:

9a.m. till ?? -- Dyno Day/Open House at ATS Racing

That sounds like it would be alot of fun. But myself, dropping 20 dollars to attend a meet. Personally Im putting this meet together to get more 6gen guys together. And figured while doing so, just get all celica gens together. Although, if the majority of people want to go along with the ATS meet, Id be more than happy to put the one im doing on hold.
I do like what ATS is doing as far as putting this together.

Ok, so I know in the DFW we're planning a larger all gen meet in september, but does anyone with the 6th gens feel like meeting up next month...errr..this month like on the 15th? Can meet up by lake worth then go for a cruise by the lake??

if you wanna meet at a park in arlington.. I suggest either stovall or cravens park..
