Hello. I have 3s-gte with a turbo boost controller, turbo timer, fuel cut defender and a blow off valve. On 1.1bar on the boost controller i have around 300hp, and when I don't use it then it has 260hp.
This is really enough power, but why not try some more if it is possible? What parts could do to manage for example 400hp? Is it possible? My friends told me a boost fuel pump, camshaft and chip would help much, is that right?

boosted fuel pump, useless (just burning the fuel pump faster if always on high speed)

camshaft (don't stick with that without a bigger turbo and exhaust)

chip (not really, put a standalone system)
Tune the car on the dyno and this will grant you at least 30hp MORE than a stock ECU on 93gas at 15psi, because the stock ECU runs a lot too rich at these pressures
The aftermarket computer is also needed for non-stock cams.

A dyno-tuning + standalone system (Power FC (rev3) or AEM EMS(rev2)) is a great investment to gain response, hp and fuel economy

MR2OC is your friend, as is the GT4OC. I don't have a link handy but try searching for the 3S-GTE Power Primer......GREAT read.

im assuming you have a 3rd gen motor?
upgrade the turbo, bigger injectors, and a powerFC. Then go get the car tuned and you should meet your goal.

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif SMELLY FACE! WTF IS THAT ABOUT LOLOLOL

It seems as tho he is referring to his GT4. So he is already running a W2A IC or FMIC, either of the 2 would get him to his 400HP mark safely. And considering he said he made 300hp at 16psi (1.1bar) it seems as tho he is referring to BHP, not WHP.

If you are still on the stock ST205 W2A IC setup tho, I highly recommend in upgrading to a stronger pump, and wiring it to run constantly when the car is on. The stock pump will start hindering you very shortly after 325BHP

As for the Fuel pump, if you haven't done so already...I would upgrade to a Walboro or Supra TT pump....as this will give you the "bump in fuel" that your friends were talking about. It is commonly overlooked in GT4's as they come with a much better factory pump then we get, so we HAVE to upgrade to a Walboro 255 or Supra TT fuel pump immediately when we swap.

If you are looking for 400BHP, all you need is a bigger turbo. You have plenty of fuel left for 400bhp with the stock 540cc injectors and Walboro 255 or Supra TT pump. I made 330whp at 21psi (1.44bar) which would be around 380bhp figuring 15% drivetrain loss on the FWD LSD transmission, all still on the factory CT20B.

At 24psi (1.65 bar) I made 342whp, which would be right around 400BHP...and my AFRS were still in the mid 10's.

If you are going to turn the boost up past 18psi, I would recommend getting water injection as an added safety precaution

did you raise the fuel pressure, my stock 540cc's are at their max at 17-18psi (100% duty cycle to hold 10,5 AFR)

No, I did not raise my fuel pressure. This is a 100% stock GEN3 fuel system, supplied via a Walboro 255 pump. What turbo, ECU, Generation 3sgte, mods, etc are you running?

Stock CT20B, apexi power fc, 3SGTE rev3, FM IC, 3" exhaust, boost controller

I'm sure that there is some useless peaks duty cycles in my fuel map, I will check that, thank you...
