I just noticed I have a small crease dent on my driverside rear quarter panel. It looks like some careless f*** hit my car with their door. Anyone know the best way to remove it? I've read people talk about paintless dent removal but i hear it doesn't work as well with crease dents.

It's hard to get any kind of crease out. Once the metal creases like that, it makes it very difficult. Your best bet is to work it really softly with something soft (wooden spoon works) from the inside. Start from the edges, and take your time. If you can't get behind it, depending on where it is and how bad it is, you might just have to use body filler.

Eh minor rolleyes.gif the paintless removal will only take off 85% of the dent/crease. happened to my friends is350, made it worse was it happened 1 week before show and on the body line. He still won 2nd place tongue.gif

it also depends if its behind all those safety skeleton crumple zones kindasad.gif if it is its going to be hard.

I hate dents, they're one of life's biggest PITA's. I'm gonna go ahead and say this is more or less a case for a body shop. I had two dents popped out, however a crease still remained, and it wasn't coming out. So I'm gonna go ahead and say that your situation will sadly be the same...

...but if you're able to do something, let us know! Good luck.

I'm sorry, I still can't get past "370Z." What was this thread about again??? tongue.gif

No, but really, door dings are the worst. And since the paint is obviously pretty new, I'd would either live with it or take it to a body shop. That's just me though.
