I recently found myself to be bored, so I reinstalled the original Max Payne because I liked it so much a few years ago.
It's still a great game. Graphics are pretty good, but the gameplay itself is still awesome- shootdodging a baddie just does not get old. So, does anyone else dig up old stuff, and if so, what are you playing? I hope I'm not the only one. I'm currently playing through Final Fantasy Tactics again for the 3rd time on a PSX emulator on my computer.

Maybe once a year some friends and I try to make it a point to play some classics like Age of Empires, but that's definitely more than 5 years old.

I still play PS2, Gamecube, Genesis, and even NES games every now and then.

Ohh my type of topic........you asked!!!
Just competed Resident evil 4 for the first time. Playing FFX for the second time. Also doing Grandia on my PSX2PSP emu. Just completed Donkey Kong Country on my xsnes PSP emu also. Recently done Persona 3 and 4 though not that old its on and old machine. Fzero xsnes is another i thrash at work(god bless handhelds!). |

my dad and i have mario kart tournaments. the ORIGINAL super mario kart on SNES. been playing ever since it came out in 1992. we also switch to mario kart 64 sometimes. not really a fan of the newer versions or the Wii one. Too overhyped and nothing like the original.
I even bring out the NES sometimes and ZAP some ducks, lol. Can't beat the classics! --------------------  |

Wow, lot of gamers here!
I just finished Half-Life because I've heard so much about it, great game. I'm gonna start HL2 soon. Oh and, I gave my old N64 and PS2 to my brother...but we usually rip up some Mario Kart 64 when I come over.

Props to you, sir. I grew up on MK64, but the original had a bit of playing from me too (i was only 5-7 though). I go through a large backcatalog of SNES games every so often. Doom is an AWESOME game. I still play online occasionally, but there's no legitimate servers (all of them have stupid mods that bastardize the deathmatch). Anyone play Starcraft? starcraft, final fantasy 2-3, exile 1-4, and I'm bored again. Might reinstall diablo...AGAIN. Sacrificed so many hours of my life to that game alone.
