Dude thats down in san diego..... we can hit up the Glendora mountain road, or the LA crest highway those seem to be closer.

F glendora mountain road to sharp of turns will get you somewhat sick at least it did for me...

Angeles Crest Highway and Ortega highway are about the same distance from my house! usually takes about 40 min to get to L.A crest from my house on a motorcycle going 80-85mph.

When you get to cooks corner on ortega highway you can see all of lake elsinore.

Angeles Crest has a cafe towards the top of the road and a long strip for top speed runs, (but there are quite a few cops out there on sunday due to motorcyles always going up there, used to be one of those guys ) We would have to hit up canyons early in the morning to avoid any po-po confrontation

well, if you do decide to head south, let me know. also, do you still have those stock springs? i'm looking to get another set of strut/springs for easy change out when and if i need them. i want to stay with stock springs so i still ride semi higher, its a rally thing......lol

Ok I can't do anything until school starts... Financial stuff. I still need to get my rotors too. I should really try to quit smoking, that stuff is costing me a fortune. But yeah, I still got the stock springs. I ask anyone for my stuff just to make me an offer.

any new developments as to when we might be meeting up again??

Actually, I forgot my Aunt and new Uncle from the UK are going to get married in October in Vegas, so I have to figure out when that is, unless you all want to come to Vegas with me :-D

Hmm, I'm down for mid october as well, but if faust has some stuff to do we may have to push it back..

But, I would love to go to vegas. I would pull a full gonzo and have my own fear and loathing experience hehe

Xavier, thank you for keeping me in mind enough to work around my schedule. But good news my boy! The wedding isn't until the 25th or so, it is the following weekend on a Sunday from the weekend of the 17th & 18th!

So if everyone else can still come that weekend and if it is cool with everyone, I think it is the best time, at least it will be for me, well that whole month would except for that wedding. Plus I am going to be out Friday-Monday for the wedding in Vegas. So please please, if everyone is cool with either the 17th Saturday, or 18th Sunday, let us know and we can make that the official time.

Since we are already discussing this too, it gives us plenty of time to plan ahead, make that commitment, request a day off, and set up a good meet.

what are yall gonna get for my birthday?

Ok. I think we can let this thread go by another week until we decide officially what day. But like I said, I really hope we can do the 17th or 18th. Having a meet on a Sunday wasn't so bad, because nobody really does anything on Sundays, although I wouldn't mind either way.

It's the 19th of October, no 8 in it haha. It was probably the year you're thinking of, Jeff was born in the 1800's.

Anyways, I still vote on the 16th. Bonfires usually mean late night, and late night means waking up late the next day, so idk bout other people's work schedules, but some people have to work on Monday morning.

saturdays work good cause after a night of bonfires, beer, and exotic dancers, i kinda feel like sleeping in..............
