Ok, so what ive been noticing is that there are alot of parts specifically made for the 2nd gen 3sgte, but the 3rd gen makes more hp? What are the ups and downs, let hear what you all think.

3rd gen is the way to go.
A few years ago the 2nd gen was easier to get and cheaper but the 3rd gen has come way down in price and is relativly easy to get.

In a nutshell:

3rd gen
Pros-Easy to make a little more power without having to spend much.Easier wiring.

Cons-A little more money

2nd gen

Pros-cheaper

Cons-Harder wiring, harder to make more power

The biggest pro for the 2nd gen is that it was offered here in both the 5th Gen Celica Altrac and the MR2T so that makes it easier to get the few parts that aren't common to both versions of the engine. You can get just about anything you may need at the local parts store.
That being said, the 3rd gen IS worth the small extra hassle of ordering parts when needed.

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
