Howdy Celica Dudes
I have just replaced the front discs and pads on my Celica (for the first time) and I'm about to do the rear ones. Is there any change in the procedure for doing the rear, or is it exactly the same deal as the front ? i.e. Do I have to do anything with the e-brake if I only want to change the discs and pads on the rear ? Cheers. |

Most AT200s (state side) are DRUMs in the rear. However i'm not sure if there is going to be a variation for you.
Drum brakes are significantly different than disk brakes. The drums slide off the system after you remove the wheel (e-brake must be down) and you'll be able to see the shoes, which are held on with a spring/hat/anchor system which is fairly simple. If they are disks, then yes its pretty much the same as the fronts. This post has been edited by playr158: Sep 1, 2009 - 8:15 AM |
