I don't want you to take this the wrong way at all, but there's really no reason to like your Celica...yet it works. It's sleek, smooth, and the way it should be...without any real major aftermarket exterior parts.
Know what I'm saying? Keep up the black beauty. This post has been edited by SwissFerdi: Sep 9, 2009 - 9:50 PM -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

Exactly. I look at your car and like it just as much as the ones I see with GT-4 front ends.
That's kind of the look I'm going for...simple and sleek. tC rims, JDM tails, KYB and Teins are in the works. -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

To be honest, it'll be whatever is decently affordable but looks good. I'm really more concerned with the drop and durability than straight-up performance. And I don't need anything ridiculous like yours, maybe just 1.5 inches.

Damn...I'll have to add an exhaust to my list, but that is EXACTLY what I want. Minimal wheel gap, I assume decent handling improvement...just in silver and with tC rims in a yet-to-not-be-revealed color.

Hmmm lets see??? top secret gold?? or R34 Midnight purple?? ......or is that too filipino But do you know how long your coils will last? Nah, nothing that crazy. It's a decently regular color, but I don't think I've seen it done on tC rims...and I'm not sure it's all that common on rims in general either. I might do something different with the lug nuts as well, maybe a different color. i had tC rims on mine, i like GTS's a lot better. they looked more natural for the car I like GT-S rims a lot, and I would've gone for them, but I just can't really find them. And honestly, 17" > 16." But look at all the tC's running around, and I can only find two rim/tire sets on offer. The third post is really just for decoration on the 3 post spoiler. I've had mine out for quite a while now. I think around a year??? I'd have to go find my old thread and look. Anyway, the spoiler really isn't any less stable. I wouldn't put any weight in the middle, since it's just a piece of plastic with no real reinforcement, but it holds up just fine. I plan on tinting the front windows, but I want the rear tint removed first. I had it professionally installed and it looks great. It's 20%. It's light enough that I can still see traffic coming up around me at night with no issues, and I can see out in well lit parking lots, but it's dark enough that it's difficult to see in during the day. However, my complaint comes when I am not around any well lit parking lots or anything, and I'm trying to back up at night. My reverse lights just aren't bright enough, and I have to look out my driver side window to back up. I plan on having that tint removed, then 35% installed all around. Tint on the front windows is illegal in Illinois, so I might go even lighter.
And 808's Celica was what inspired me to get the TRD splitters all around. I wanted TRD rears with SS-III fronts, but after I saw that car I knew I wanted TRD all around. I'm not quite there yet, since I have TRD GT4 front splitters instead of GT, but close enough. They look a whole lot better than not having anything there. Any rubbing issues 808? You have rolled guards yeh? No rolled fenders, no rubbing issues just alot of camber and taking turns is fun. I'm not gonna roll my fenders. i've decided to use a die grinder to cut off whatever i need This is how close both 18's and 16's came to the fender. i did use a pipe to bend it a little just so it doesnt really cut into my tires. But do you know how long your coils will last? Nah, nothing that crazy. It's a decently regular color, but I don't think I've seen it done on tC rims...and I'm not sure it's all that common on rims in general either. But look at all the tC's running around, and I can only find two rim/tire sets on offer. Dunno how long they'll last. When i whack a wall i guess, then that's when i know that its time to change it up I think i know where you're going with the rims. imma pm you about them This post has been edited by 808celica: Sep 10, 2009 - 3:08 AM -------------------- I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island

16>17 on cars this size IMO.
16s are lighter and you can usually find the right offset for our cars easier on 16's than 17's. i felt a little better response with my 16s due to the unsprung weight i lost from those HEAVEY tC rims. GTS rims are very light for an OEM rim. and Ebay is your friend. when i got my tC rims, i bought them from the dealer brand new for 400 with brand new tires just gotta do some searching -------------------- 2015 Subaru WRX.
