I own a 97 Celica St. My gas tank appears to be leaking from the front of the tank. Has anyone else had this problem? What could it be?

I suggest you remove the rear seat and inspect the top of the fuel tank where the pump is. Sometimes the fuel lines up there rub against the chassis and leak, this could be running down the front of your tank. Tanks themselves don't often leak unless they are damaged in some way. If it's the tank then all you can do is replace it for the most part.
