i think the ss3 extensions, lotus sides, spoilerless, projectors, gunmetal wheels with polished lip and MAYBE tint to match the dark theme (dunno if your into tint) and that would be one NICE car... still sleeper till the blow off =)

auto is boring.

Hey! I resent that remark. lol

I agree with Manny 100% on that one! I did it for 2-1/2 years and I still don't know how I made it that long.

I know, I was kidding. I'd much rather be driving a manual than auto. But I'm used to it, so I can deal tongue.gif

so, i've been driving around in the car for a few weeks, with the dented up hood and stuff..gotta love it!
this week, we finally started the bodywork.
i spent the better part of all my breaks and lunch at work on monday working on 2 dents in the drivers fender, lol, and my buddy paul (the REAL body man..LMAO) worked the rest of the drivers side dents yesterday.
today i messed with the roof and such, and paul did the passanger side dents.
the hatch on this car has rot around the window, luckily i have another in better condition to replace it with, and such. wink.gif

a quick sneak peek:

IPB Image

slowly but surely, its getting there. i still need to get off my lazy ass and pick up the hood from dustin. laugh.gif

NICE! But why not swap the 5S-FTE into this hatch and the 3S-GTE into the '94 GT?

because the 5sfte is jenns thing, and dropping a 2nd gen 3s, without major mods, into her car would be a major dissapointment. wink.gif

Right, I kind of forgot it wasn't your car...but you could package it as this: throw the 3S-GTE (3rd gen, then) into her car, and fix this one up and transfer the old engine. Tell her to trade cars since her '94 is older, it's been the same for a while, and you'll fix this one up, it'll be 'newer,' and she'll have the dependable engine while you have the new-fangled commodity that hasn't necessarily been proven to work in this new car.

And if that doesn't work, steal that sucker. biggrin.gif

All of this has me confused, Jenn is Manny's wife. What difference doe's it make what engine is in this car?
If you think Jenn is some girly girl that wouldn't know the difference you must be new. So, I am not picking a fight,
I just don't understand why it matters. They can drive each others cars whenever they want so I don't think they call
it stealing.

its all good man, no offence taken at all.
naa, jenn loves HER car.
shes had it since 99, and wouldnt trade it for the world.
if anything, it would be a 3rd or 4th gen 3s that would go in her car, and i wouldnt take her 5s, we'd prolly sell alot of that stuff off to make some money back from whatever swap she wanted to do.
the way the plan is supossed to go, my car will be much more subtle than jenns, while still having enough done to it to make it a looker. wink.gif
engine plans for my car are still a wash right now, i'll cross that bridge down the road at some point.

I hear you. I'm the same way with mine and well, just compare it to most 6GC's here and it's nothing in comparison...but at least it's MY nothing. biggrin.gif

And on your car...I say SCREW the norm and keep it as is. Really. Get some insanely subtle splitters, projectors, JDM tails, and a duckbill, put some nice wheels under it and lower it, but not much. And then...BEAMS or 4A-GZE. You will have the ULTIMATE sleeper.
