I recently bought GT4 Raiser Blocks from vincent_doggy. As you guys know, they are shipped primed black. I am going to have the blocks painted, but I am undecided on what color I should paint them. My car is Renaissance Red (paint code 3L2). I will be getting rims in the spring. I want to either paint the blocks red, to match the rest of the car, and then either get black or gun-metal rims, or paint the blocks black, and then get black rims. If I paint the blocks black, I will probably paint my door handles black as well, as my handles need to be painted anyway. So I need opinions. I personally think that any of these options would look great, so I'm looking to you guys to help me decide.

If you do it, I would also get a spare rear spoiler (like $50 tops) then paint red and mould them together. I don't personally like the look of a spoiler on a block, just seems... odd to me. Although, the eurou block can pull it off if done right.

That was my first thought, but none of those cars have black rims, and I really like black rims, so I think black blocks would compliment the rims nicely.

Black blocks and black rims would look like sex.

Whatever you do, match the color of the blocks to the spoiler. If you get black rims, you could paint your spoiler and blocks black and have a 2 color theme going.

Well yeah, I was thinking of the two-color theme, but I've never seen anyone paint the entire spoiler a different color than the car... I'm not sure how good that would look, do you have any pictures as an example?

^^^ Yeah, don't do that. Keep your spoiler matched to the car. Follow the examples that Jaws4God gave you. Don't do black door handles either. They'd look grossly out of place. I'm indifferent on black vs. red riser blocks, but if it was my car, I'd match them to the spoiler. Black blocks look best on a white or silver Celi.

My vote: Red celica, black raiser blocks!

I only like it because of the roof spoiler, without that, I think it'd look out of place.

I still think moulded red blocks with red spoiler look best.

Well the roof spoiler is always a future possibility.

That is one sexy 6GC. Wow. Except I would've gone with a GT-4 bumper, not C-ONE.

Just wanted to ask, if I do paint the blocks black, do you guys think I should make them gloss or matte? What would look better?

blk risers seperate the wing and make it look like its sitting on top of it instead of one flush look.
