While organizing with my friend to order the CF riser blocks for the GT four spoiler, he pointed out that the spoiler used to do the riser blocks mod is totally different from my own. has anybody else encountered this problem and how difficult is it to get the regular spoiler and modify the trunk/hatch to fit the riser blocks and the other spoiler?
my car is a 97 model original GT four but came with this kind:

but the one in the write up on how to install the riser blocks is totally different see for yourself.

If anyone has encountered this problem please let me know how to fix it so i can get the riser blocks installed with the correct spoiler.

as long as its the usdm or jdm 2 post wing, your good, but if thats your wing in the pic, you have alot more work than just mounting the wing to the riser blocks, you gotta do some body work.

You'll have to fill and paint the middle hole if you want the gt-four risers. The 96 facelift gave it a new spoiler, with three prongs like your image instead of just two.

Yes, you will have to drill some extra holes. Like Espo said, you will have to have the hole made by the middle post of your current spoiler filled. And pretty much everybody with a '96-99 has the 3 post spoiler, myself included.

Don't let this be a daunting task. It's not hard to install the '94-95 spoiler with raiser blocks. You just need to buy a new spoiler and the raiser blocks. Once you have those, you have it made.

Do you have any suggestions where I can purchase riser blocks?
