last gb I'm ever running
And Alan, I'll decide on the refund after hearing from Romas. If they are very close to being done, you're in the buy still. If they aren't, I'll refund.
Regardless you would be out the nonrefundable deposit and paypal fees. So if you think about it, it would be kind of dumb to pull out and lose money. This is exactly why the deposit was deemed non-refundable. It says clearly in the first post.

I can buy this pods from a friend of mine they are ready to ship he has alot of stock, we have waited long enough and all I asked is a date when the pods would be ready, I am not blaming anyone but I needed these ages ago for a show and btw I am the only person who paid in full, so why should I wait any longer? So you are saying you can leave 10 years go buy till these pods are ready and you will not refund me the full amount!!!! You pay a deposit if the item is delived in a certain time, if not you have to refund the money.
If the pods are ready soon ill wait but I need a Date !!! ASAP!!! if you can give me a date Refund in FULL!!!
I have waited long enough

Here's the deal:
Romas has 80% of the triple pods done.
And the single pods haven't been re-done.
And he is PACKED with projects for the next 5-6 weeks. I'm done making you guys wait. It's not fair to you guys. I will be doing my BEST to get people their money back. One of the reasons I have been hesitant to close this GB is because the company I worked for this summer went bankrupt and still owes me $7,000. It was my choice to use the money from deposits to live on while trying to get some money from my company. So I will be doing my best to refund everyone and this gb will be done.

Please E-MAIL me at brown117@purdue.edu with name, screenname, paypal addy, and amount you sent in. And I'll get this money out as fast as possible

Sorry folks

sidenote- I will be refunding the amount that actually made it through paypal and I will refund as a gift.... Unless you guys have some major issue with this. I have bent over backwards for you guys trying to make this happen and in no way feel that I should be LOSING money by attempting to run this gb. PM me if you have any issues with that

Will you keep a separate list of those that are willing to wait? I'd be willing to wait. I'm in no big rush. Thanks.

Hey guys I was just talking to YCM and here is an option I have for you guys.
He will price match. The 175 for triple and 105 for single pod. So your deposit would still be good! Also he seems the have them in stock ready to go.
Here's a link to check them out:
http://www.rt-performance.com/#/toyota-cel...t205/4535053843
So the rules would be the same, shipping is still additional and he will ship them directly to you. and then you will reimburse him directly for shipping. Are you still interested? With Romas dropping out of the picture for these for a long time apparently (he told me today it could be a LONG time because the baby is due in two months) I want you get you guys what I promised.
Let me know. To maintain current pricing we need to stick with atleast ten people. Let me know ASAP!

I'm not sure, I know Petna already has one. I'll ask him to shed some light. Look at the link for pics. Shipping is still unknown, but shouldn't be radically different

so does this mean we have an option of either getting 52mm or 60mm diameter for both triple & single gauge pods?
what is shipping to Canada?
if we don't get 10 people (ie. say in the next 3 weeks), what will happen then?

Ray's products look great. I am definately up for getting them from him. I would be up for both triple and single of a 52mm RHD pod.

Quality looks OEM(ish) obviously exact dash style not achievable due to being made out of plastic rather than the padded dash stuff. They are light and angle the gauge well.
I've not fitted mine yet but a test fit shows thay sit well on the dash and still allow you to pull out the centre console without moving the gauges. Stick them down with double sided sticky tape or foam and they shouldn't move but equally can be removed easily at a later date. Cable routing at the front down the dash seems easy enough or drilling into the dash is an option too. There is plenty of room in the pod for wiring too

Here are some pics with them placed on the dash (not stuck down in the right position) The sticking of them will pull them into place so there should be no gaps from pod to dash. Hope this helps

Hi All

Thank you for considering my services to provide you with the gauge pods.
Since the launch of these gauge podds, we've sold over 30 units across the celica club, gt4OC and GT4EC and from direct from our website at www.rt-performance.com.
The concept behind our gauge pods was to make them look as close to the OEM dash as possable.

The material we're using is a 2.5mm high impact plastic with a leathergrain effect. Not fibreglass. This means it will not chip or crack, flexable, durable and light weight. Or course they cost more to make compared to fibreglass but the results where worth it.
Every single one is hand made and when ever I order these I'd have to leave my car with the fabricators for a few days as they test fit every single one to my car shaping them to my dash to ensure the best fit.

When we had the designers make these, we had the pods adjusted so that it's at an eye level and pointed to the driver not up in the air.
The height and angle was agreed upon 4 guys including myself at varied heights between 5 foot 7 to 6 foot 1.
Also the back and tails of the gauge pods where designed to not stick out so much but to blend into the dash being abit more suttle.

They are held on with double sided tape and the wires would run along the front edge and into your dash where there is the join.
The gauge pods will cover the wires keeping them hidden so you wont have to drill into your dash making the installation compleatly reversable.

There is enough room inside for most lock ring or mounting brackets normally provided with your gauge pods and I can have them made in 60mm as well as 52mm. Just let me know before hand.
Production of these only takes 4 days so you wont have to wait another 6 months.

Here are some more pictures of them stuck down:

Any questions, please feel free to ask me.

Ray
