When does your turbo start spooling? Just curious, I just got dont with my swap and seems like my turbo spools too early. It start spooling at 2000rpm.

what turbo do you have, 2000rpms sounds reasonable

are you at WOT?

well the turbo spools once you start putting the foot on the throttle. Do you mean when do you hit full boost? And keep in mind you have a ct26. Them things spool pretty damn quick. Well not quick like a Ko3 lol

Im they guywith the black celica u and john came over to help/diagnos during late summer in st.paul...still breaking in clutch so i haven't punched it yet, not sure when full boost kicks in...but thanks everyone...still new to the turbo scene so ill be asking alot of questions in the future..

No need to break in a clutch. Just drive it the way you normally do. Just don't go ricing around.

The turbo is always spooling. Its always there to help the motor along. Thats why you hear the spool with as little as 2000rpm. However full boost will happeen around 3200rpm or so, and must be monitored by a boost gauge to see.

LOL power died at 2000 rpms. I'm just saying, that turbo belongs on a bike not a car.
