So we have a cracked exhaust manifold on the race car.... this along with, you know, sounding like a sewing machine around the track, we wanted to upgrade the exhaust. We found this gem here on the ebays.

Anyone had any experience with this bad boy?

It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work.

Exhaust and header for 80 can't really be a bad deal.

I am guessing that the quality will be.... shaddy at best... but for $80 with the "promise" of a little more flow... I'll take it! Its going on the lemons car so it will only see track use.... it "should" hold up for a little bit... but at $80 its almost a throw away part if it delivers as expected...

Never mind then. I just padded my pockets over the weekend, so I feel like spending some money. I really meant it to be for Christmas presents for my family...but then I decided Celica > life. biggrin.gif

But if it's a crap product, it's a crap product. Put it to the test though, can't hurt on a Lemons car. smile.gif

I've used one for a few years, no probs, just extend the b-pipe to fit. It gives it a little more pop but does make it run a little rich.

i've had one on my geo for 3yrs now i think, i've beaten it pretty hard AND its heat wrapped. if it was crap i think it would have broken by now. i've romped full throttle keeping the engine 3000-5000 rpm through twisties repeatedly, ran it upto 100 on the highway a few times with the pedal to the floor, cruised at 80mph for hours on end, etc etc.

it rides a little close to the alt there and it was making the hood/engine bay pretty hot so i wrapped it up.

everything fit great (celi needs a pipe extended), the powerband shifted upwards a little. feels like its got the most power around 3500 now but feels stronger anywhere over 2000rpm and just starts to fall off at fuel cut.

Bitter, would you recommend it? I'm not expecting any power, but a little more noise and a better looking exhaust/tip would be nice.
