6G Celicas Forums

I'd definitely go if Toyota brought the FT-86, even just to look at. But I say if your contact at Toyota says if we can get a good group of sports car interest going, then we hit up all the Toyota forums. Celicatech, Supraforums, MR2OC, the works. Let's get EVERYBODY to come. I definitely want the 6gc scene to have a good share of this though. I don't want to see our cars get completely shut out. But I say we get everyone we can to come. I'm sure if this meet turns out to be big enough, then certain shops would LOVE to have us. Imagine all the money walking around at a meet like that. Surely some shop or some track will want to get a part of that.

Yeah, probly have a larger turn out if it just wasnt 6gc, get all the nice toyotas involved and youd have a turnout!

sounds really really fun if the turn out can be really in the 100's but 22hours of driving personally I don't think I can handle something like that, and I am all for meets.

I say a west coast meet in the Yreka/Big Springs, CA area.

Definitely, I will be hitting up the other forums and some of the club connects I have to get more cars out. I definitely would like to get it so that we have a really strong 6gen presence as well. This is my community, toyota is my community in a broader spectrum, so I'm not leaving the rest of the fam out, but 6gc is where I belong for a long time.

2C2L, come on now, we will caravan out there, and its not quite 22 hrs to OKC from here, it was 22hrs for him cuz hes down south in FL. It's close, but not quite. Plus we have New Mexico and AZ that makes it a little quicker of a drive for us out here. Distance, we are about the same, but time wise, we have a little less than that as a drive out there.

I don't think I ever changed my mind.

I don't want to drive 27 hours to the middle of the country. I would rather drive 7.5 hours to Northern CA.

I'm planning to drive out west in the summer anyways in the summer to oregon. Maybe if this ever happens i could work something out

That's actually already in the works for early summer of next year, just getting some more plans/research done first before starting that thread up.

My family has some land out in the boonies in Big Springs. I'm sure if I spoke to them we could utilize their field for camping and stuff.

That's geographic, not driving wise, trust me on that. But like I said, the location will shift a bit based on responses of positive maybes/I'm in's from ppl and where they are coming from.
