Hi all, have been browsing this forum for a while now but thought its about time i should say hello. so umm.......hello

used to own a 1996 gt which was lightly fettled, then moved on to an mr2 and a few other cars then saw sense and got a gt4 wrc last year. also got a manual (rare as ****) toyota soarer for drifting duties.

the car was virtually standard when i got her but is undergoing a little rebuild as i melted a piston playing with a 911 turbo a few months back. can post up specs if anyone is vaguely interested

I used to love Toyota Soarer, I still do.

Here in New Zealand the 1992 Toyota Soarer Twin Turbo is around the same price range as various Toyota Celica SS-I and SS-IIs between 1994 and 1996, It was my favourite car before my GT-Four. The 1JZ-GTE powered Toyota Soarer was fast and affordable (initial outlay wise) however my interest faded as I learnt to drive Manual. There are a couple facelifted 1996 Toyota Soarer Single Turbo VVT-i models floating around out there with Manual trans, These seem to sell for over 2x as much as my 1996 GT-Four, Around the same price as a late spec Toyota Supra RZ Twin Turbo.

Congratulations on owning my favourite Supra powered luxury Coupe in Manual trans!!

And the GT4 is nice too smile.gif
