You dont like the way it looks stock, or you dont like the TOM's? There are a few different lips floating around. What were you planning on going with?

UPDATE:
so here's what Ive done so far. i cut my old bumper in 3 and i am using the bottom like a toms lip kind of deal to mold a new lip.

and yes it fits pretty good.

One question...Why did you cut the upper portion into two piece also? I'm sure you have your reasoning, but you didn't elaborate much on it! I like where your headed now with the "toms" lip idea. Much better than the spoiler, even if the spoiler idea was eventive, it just wasnt attractive. GOOD LUCK with your new mission, and keep the pics coming!

i cut it in 2 to make it easier to throw away laugh.gif .

its not uncommon that people cut the same bottom portion of the same bumper and use it as a lip. thats a better idea than your first. Now will it go on and make a difference? I dunno because it just might go on exactly in the same place where your bumper is now and not look like a lip. You need a way to lower the lip and make it look like one.

appears to be some mix of custom Supra front end (aftermarket front bumper) and GT-Four. I am almost certain I have seen that on a supra before, minus the fog lights.

You're definitely not afraid to try things...but are you sure you don't want to put more energy into your car in general, just fixing things that need attention?

Having said that...good luck with this and I want to see what you do with it.

I like where this is going, al right..., lol, no but seriously, it looks like its going to turnout grrrrreat!, but you are going to spend at least 50$ on fiverglass, atleast 1 layer, right? and a can of glossy red spraypaint WAIT on Pepboys/Autozone they have sprays that matches you car for under 5$
just giving you some affordable ideas...

I would use a heat gun and bend the bottom out, that would straighten the front easier than what you are thinking of with the cardboard now.

Why would you ever suggest such a thing? I'm sorry that the man doesn't have much money, but making his car look even crappier isn't going to help.

If you want your car to look good, why don't you spend the little bit of money that you get here and there and save up for REAL products. I'm not one to tell you not to make your own lip, but I'd be a damned idiot if I was going to tell you that's your first priority. Take off the V8 badge, get a decent paint job.. and stock or not.. get some freakin wheels.

I usually never suggest this option... but since you're on a tight budget, get the $200 paint job at Maaco and do your own primer and body work. You're going to blow at least that much on this front lip thing, and this would help your car MUCH more than this.

I understand you want to spice up your ride. But, make it a RIDE first before you try to spice it up. If you don't have the budget for it now, I'd suggest to just work on essentials until you do.

thanks for the sugestion SinisterSinner!

and as far as Casterol! listen bro unlike you! i don't have money to redo my entire car. I'm pretty sure that every one here would do just more than a lil paint job and sticker if we had tons of money. I'm doing this cause i like to do things on my own. if there's one thing I've learned in the past couple of months is that you cant depend on other ppl to help. REMEMBER the ppl your dealing with online COULD be scamers (I'm not saying all of them are) but would you drop 200-300 dollars on a lip from somebody you dint know??? listen over all I DONT CARE what anyone says about what I'm doing, I'm just having fun and its my car and i do as I please. (NO Offence)

And this is when I realized you didn't listen to a damned thing I said...

Never once did I said it was a bad thing you didn't have money. So before you accuse me of things, how about you READ my post first. I was actually being helpful. Imagine that. rolleyes.gif I promise, it'll be the last time for you.
