Alright, I'm going to be looking for a new car in the somewhat near future, and I'm very indecisive. I want some opinions as to why you chose what you chose. I have my reasoning for each choice, which I will list below. Thanks for looking and discussing!

98-05 Lexus GS series - aside from the obvious, the pros to this car are the 4 doors, the fact its still technically a Toyota and there are enough tasteful mods that I can do to it for a daily driver. The cons...can only get it in auto.

99-02 Solara - If I did decided to get one of these, it would become a 5S-FTE car. Its different and I like that.

6GC GT Hatch - no need to explain. tongue.gif

MR2 - it is a crisis car not bound to an age range. It is an all-around life crisis car!

Solaras are nice cars in fact I ended up with the celica instead of a solara. Why not get a v6 5spd and then supercharge it instead of a 5sfe powered one?

Do keep in mind that every old vehicle will come back to bite you in the arse. You modify a 10 year old car and 10 year old car problems that have nothing to do with your modifications start knocking on your door.

This.

There is a TRD charger for almost every Toyota engine with 6 or more cylinders.

How about an Infiniti G35 or 350z?

Or possible a WRX?

Only thing about those cars is that, well, they're not Toyota tongue.gif.

Its not like you can walk up to your local toyota parts desk and order one. Most are discontinued. Heck even the SC for my '06 tundra was discontinued. Ebay or 3rd party manufacturers is pretty much your only choice.

6GC GT liftback...no brainer. I wouldn't go for a Solara, I don't think they look good and like somebody mentioned...mid-life crisis chick car. They're way too 'bulbuous' for me. AND, you can still do a 5S-FTE setup on a GT.

I would say no. A 6GC (when done right) looks awesome, and looks fast, although it can still have a weak powerplant. A Solara is very round and looks a lot more chick-ish...it reminds me a bit of a whale.

In my opinion a solara can look just as good as a 6gc.http://kaminari.com/toyota-solara-lip-kit

Not my cup of tea. The 6gc has a much more aggressive look.

Now that looks good. I guess I don't like them because I only ever see them in stock form, and the stock 16s are HORRIBLY sucked in...they looked like my car on steelies.

This right thurr is where its at, but the idea of a GTE GS is so much more tempting.

A vip lexus would be sweet. And I was only suggesting a solara because I think they are great looking cars.
