I have an opportunity to buy these, but I want to know first if it's something you guys would be interested in. Cost would be in the neighborhood of $40, here's a picture and the specs as copied from the mfr's site:






1) Four sensor system
2) the system will automatically start up when reversed
3) radar detects distance, voice indicator
4) Bi Bi Bi alarm system (I have no idea what this means right now lol)
5) suitable for any environment
6) All kinds of sensor colors are available
7) High quality and easy to install
8) working voltage: DC 12V
9) max power: 5W
10) working temperature: -40—–80 °C
11) indication Distance: 0.2—-2.0m
12) alarm distance:0.4m—–1.5m
13) any color sensor is available,suitable for any car
14) the closer the obstacle,the faster the alert ,keep frequency alarming to indicate safety zone,caution zone, danger zone.

bump, any others interested? This probably won't happen until after the new year, I want to order a single unit as a sample so I can check it out first and make sure it's a decent product. But I'm looking at getting this going in January if there's enough interest to warrant it.

As for the price point, yes, it's a good price, I could probably jack it up some but truthfully I really just thought this is a pretty cool product and would be a nice creature comfort mod for our cars. There are others that have LED displays and other bells and whistles, but honestly they cost more and I don't think that the LED is really necessary at all, it's just another blinky thing that doesn't fill any more purpose. wink.gif

i want to buy this right now!!!!! the only thing stopping me from re-doing my tint, is that i cant see when i back up!! this would be perfect. count me in. got the money set aside already.

Yes, you'd have to drill small holes to mount the sensors.
