we don't get as much snow as out east/west, but the weather here is generally colder especially around february. right now it's only -13 F (with windchill it's -22 F) but tonight with the windchill we're expecting as low as -33 F maybe lower.. and it's only december. every morning i start the car with a very stiff clutch pedal and gear linkages. sometimes the door won't even stay shut unless i direct my interior electric heater towards it.

a couple of months ago, some woman in a rav4 liked my car so much that she wanted her car to touch mine. but my instincts were telling me she just wanted to change lanes and didn't see me in her blind spot so i hit the brakes, merged closer towards the curb to get as much distance and honked all at the same time. i managed to avoid her car touching mine but my passenger tire hit and climbed the curb. luckily some guy in an honda accord who saw the whole thing, managed to drive up and get her physical description (blonde, dark framed glasses, my type smile.gif) as well as the vehicle description and drove back to where i had pulled over. my insurance is replacing the damaged tire but i'm getting winter tires and will just pay the difference. so i've been driving with my sister's winter steelies until i get them replaced hopefully by next week.

Some new things. My car is filthy but it is to cold to wash it and it will just get rained or snowed on again.

I just finished going through all 241 pages of this thread.

You all have very nice cars, and seeing these pictures has made me even more anxious for my GT4 to get here. I will be joining this thread with some nicer photos when she lands and I clean her all up.

'Til then keep the pics coming.

Thanks.

Luc.

^^ Thanks guys, seriously, considering all that is going on with me right now and the choices I have made thus far... That really means a lot. I have some more I want to post, but they will be a bit spread out... So I hope people don't get tired of it. I just get bored and I look for opportunities that I may take to improve.

Very nice pics 'Random'

I always think of Cali as one big metropolis, but I see mountain ranges and farmland. It's cool.

I'm not sure about the colour scheme though. It's definitely unique. I'm wondering if a darker shade of Red would look nice for the wheels/risers. Something more blood coloured. Try to PS it and see how it looks.

Would be interesting to try out, but I don't know how to use photoshop. I have accomplished what I wanted for now with my car (for now as far as exterior goes until I can get a decent paint job), to look different than any other Celica ST,GT, or GT-Four, so that I may stand out (A car is an extension of our personality after all) until I am more situated to go with something a little more simple once the conversion is complete. Then again, this scheme has grown on me a bit, but we will see what happens until then.

LOL The car isn't really what I am trying to capture here though, "She" is basically just an object in the beautiful scenery. Just so it isn't exactly nature itself, but that is the primary focus, even though it seems the total opposite.
