I guess I need to re-phrase my question. When he re-registered his car... did anyone come out to look at the car or did he just do it in DMV, got his tags and yada yada. I am interested because me and my friend were talking about right hand drive cars in usa and it would be interesting to find out from person who have actually went through legal aspects of things.

rhd is legal in the u.s.a.....

At that pace one can deduct that getting somewhere on time is out of the question?! Isn't there a way to put some sort of sticker on the back of the car to let police know to not pull you over?

I got pulled over a total of 74 times between 2003-2007. That part I am used to.. Loud exhaust, car height, graphics, sound system volume, tinted windows etc etc. I am more concerned about some grumpy cop physically removing me out of RHD vehicle, towing it and some person intentionally sending it to crusher just because he felt like it.

So.... You didn't have to do any special wiring for the ECU? You just used the GT-Four one?
