I just had a dirty little thought...not sure how expensive it would be to do, but...flat black MR2. biggrin.gif

That's so funny, because my friend said that today too. I dunno though, I do like that stock color and it would be nice to restore it, although I do like those in white (since I don't want two red cars as my Celica will be red once I complete it). I might just slap white on it though, with a black center piece (For the JDM tail lights). But for now, all I care to do with it is just get that fender replaced, the door fixed (the dent) and a clean paint job. After that, who knows. There is lots I want to do with it, and yet I want it stock too, so in the future, I will just have to buy another one. LOL I like it that much.

Hell no! I won't sell her! She STILL looks better than the MR2. Once she is converted, people will begin to understand why I kept her around. Thanks man.

^^^ IT's already a pain though, well at least for me. I don't have jack stands and my jack sucks... If you look under the front wheel, I have a rotor there, because the eBrake cable is loose. I have to tighten it, not by the center console like with our cars, but from UNDER the friggin car. LOL That's so dumb...

You're prolly going to die soon..... Using a jack (especially one that sucks) and no jackstands is not only unsafe, but extremly retarded.... On the highest level.... If you're gonna be a car guy and work on them, be intelligent about it. I have zero sympathy for people who get hurt working on cars when it's their own fault because they're too cool to be safe

EDIT: On second thought, no drama is going to come from me on this community, I am better than that. But you and your opinion, I swear laugh.gif For the record though, Mister "my opinion counts", I wouldn't be foolish enough to work without jack stands, my comment simply meant I had to wait for those items.

Just an input, drove my friends mr2 without power steering. And it was fine, a little bit of a workout at low speds but besides that. Man i want a mr2 turbo or supra turbo.

Who's in the christmas spirit?

Yeah she's got power steering, I will more than likely (after I make sure all is well with it, has a bit of a boost leak, haven't really driven it much as I blew all my $ on it and still need to get it insured, etc..) bring it down sometime.

lol hopefully man, time will tell. Those MR2's make you change your mind quickly. Lol I really want a first gen so bad. Noone likes those but I really have a crave for one. Would be cool to have a nice little rwd track or auto x car. Who know's I might get one myself but I know im'ma perfer rwd so I rather not at this point. Really like my Celi don't wanna give it up.

I still think my Celica can out handle my MR2 right now, but the mr2 needs real wheels. It is much more fun to drive, but then again, I could just be saying that because I never had a boosted car before. I like the 1st gen, I just didn't want it over the MK2, but I see those cars drifting and out drag racing other cars over the rest of them. They are nimble lil mofos.
