I would. But I'm more concerned about a place to wash my hands.

what exactly do you plan to do on the way to the meet that will require to wash your hand(s)?

I would advise to ALWAYS carry a few gallons of water with you (drinkable or not). Never know when you will need it for things like being out of radiator fluid or being covered with engine grease after repairs. I always carry some cause after my scuba diving i am covered in salt and nearest shower is 4 hours away.

Not on the way there, but during...handling meat/food during grilling and such. I'm just OCD about my car. kindasad.gif

There is a thing that people use to spray fruit trees with. Works by pumping in the air and pressure pushes liquid through the nozzle. They sell those for 20 bucks in most retail stores. I loooove it. Easy to use and very handy. All the times you come back from a beach wishing there was a hose nearby... all the times when you really need to wash your car but you dont have a hose....

Works like a charm.

hey guys bad news for me.........

i'm pretty sure the engine in my ST is toast. the was an oil leak n it ran out of oil. i was able to replace the connecting rod bearings on cylinders 1 & 2 but i was unable to get to 3 & 4. the engine cranks up now but is burning oil like crazy. i want to swap the engine for just about anything that runs. does anyone know of a cheap place that I can pick up engine @?

Junkyards would be your cheapest option although there are not too many 6gcs. Price wise it would cost you about 1-3 grand to swap a used engine if you take it to a mechanic. That's not considering time it will take to fix it.

^ If that's what you need to go, I can meet you up in Fort Myers. You'd probably be best off taking 75 and then I-4, so you're gonna pass by my way anyway. I'm off exit 131. We can meet up there and caravan the rest of the way. I haven't personally talked to him, but photoguy1313 also is in this area, if he makes it he can join as well.

That sucks, hope you get it worked out. either way, please dont let some minor damage deter you from bringing the celica if the clutch is in-- we'll get over it, lol. biggrin.gif

That's up to you to PM them now and get them to come out, you seem to be the only interested one from SoFLA, I've PM'd most the members from down there and well, it didnt seem to work, no one wanted to drive 3hrs it seems, but maybe caravan-ing might change their minds... ... The more the merrier. biggrin.gif

SoFLA is considered the East side of FL. You are just naples as far as i know... lol.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Florida_metropolitan_area

It would be quite a ride across the alley anyway, but thats not my decision if Candiiman wants to take you up on your offer. IIRC its a 90mi trip across....

Hush hush or I am going to call up some peeps to come to the meet with wheels like these

or like these

His rims do appear wide because he has stock fenders. I think he might want to look into some fender rolling or at least get bigger mudflaps for all 4 tires unless he wants to ruin his paint with pebbles and other stuff that he is driving over.

Could you please post a side view of that rim please.
