My son's 94 ST needs a new o2 sensor and the local auto parts wants $100 for the exact fit replacement. So I checked for the Bosch 12102 sensor and bought it for $49, $7 bucks shipping. Anyone else save a bundle from Amazon on car parts? He's off to college so we'll replace it when he comes back this next weekend.

Yep, I buy my spark plugs and wires from Amazon all the time. No real savings on the plugs (it was just convenient since I was ordering the wires anyway) but I save about $20 on the wires consistently, especially with free super saver shipping.

I've consistently price shopped Amazon for a number of things, and more often than not they come in way cheaper. I tend to choose the option to buy directly from them rather than through a third party seller on Amazon, because I've found that things tend to ship faster.

Checkers/Schucks/Kragen (and now O'reilly's) price matches, too. In fact they'll beat it by 5% I think. I'm not sure if this applies to Amazon parts, I've never inquired, but it's definitely worth the inquiry. I'd be willing to bet Advance Auto and other chains local to you will price match as well.
