Well, I currently live in houston now, ever since i crashed my celi I haven't gotten on much. So whenever the houston crew has a meet maybe ill stop by to see how it is, but I just got a 2010 Honda civic si today o.o. Whats your opinions on them? Bash if you want. As long as it's a honest answer.

I hate the slope of the A-pillars. It creates a huge blind spot up front when you're turning.

My boss has a 09 Si and he never drives it because of that.

They are nice. I drove my friends when he first got an 07 or around there. The only thing I don't like about it is a typical Honda problem though, they have a good amount of horsepower but the torque seems to always be a bit low compared to the hp. Just my opinion though.

Welcome to Houston! How do you like the place so far? I like the Civic for what it was when I test drove one. I didn't notice the blind spot deal the other two mentioned, but that was probably because I wasn't driving them for long enough to notice.

The Houston crew gets together from time to time at random moments. If you'd like to, feel free to PM me or D-man your number and we'll give you a heads up whenever we do get together.

hongkongnerdboy, now you're a houstonnerdboy lol

nice to see ya, sorry you wrecked the Celi. That's lame. The Si's look nice, but if that a-pillar blind spot thing is true, well, that's a bummer. Congrats on the new ride though, how are you liking it?

I like them...I guess. My innate problem with Civics is that they're so damn common, even if Si's are not. I don't like the spaceship styling. And having driven an '08 Si coupe...I can say it's not all that exciting.

But again, as long as you like it, who gives a f*ck what we think. Welcome back guy.

He's been hanging out with Havoc for a while since they both live on the same side of town, but not much innernet access for them. However, Havoc did start a thread probably a few below this one.

What part of town are you staying at?

I love those Civics with their spaceship styling. biggrin.gif I think the dash design is awesome. I dunno. My favorite interiors have always been from Hondas, even in the 80s. They were always ahead of their time. Sorry. Check an '86 Accord's gauge cluster. Awesome for its age, huh? tongue.gif
