Hi Bros/Sis...
Im preparing for an engine rebuilt. I own a Japanese ST205 WRC version and I will need a rebuilt for my engine. According to you, what would be the best rebuild?? I badly need your advice as its the first time i will open my engine and i would not like to have to open it again:( Please help! Which forged pistons ? Connecting rods? Crank shaft? Ive heard about JE, CP, Wiseko, Cosworth, JUN and some more but i would love to have the maximum power out of my 'new engine'...please suggest:) Stroker kit? Or would it be better to get a stroker kit? but which one? For now my upgrades are as follows: Apexi AVCR -boost control (1.1 bar) Denso Iridium Sparks walbro 255 lph fuel pump SARD fuel regulator High flow fuel filter Removed Cat 3" piping exhaust PLEASE PLEASE HELP HELP:P |

a) "maximum power from a rebuild" you can make anything from 200 to 1000hp from a rebuild depends how much $ and what you want out of it.
b) taking a loan to finance modifications is not a good idea. If you can't afford it don't do it till you can. You need to figure out what you want to do with the car and a realistic power goal. (I'd say ~250-350hp is a practical one) then get on mr2oc and research what it takes to hit those goals (note i said research, this means post searching and such, not creating posts) see what other people have done and go from there. You can buy the most expensive parts or what someone "says" is "the best" but doesn't mean your motor is going to be all that or last that long. Ok thnx but in fact am just looking for someone to advise me on the best forged pistons on the market...rods...n shaft... Yea that tends to happen a bit here, people telling you how to live your life, instead of answering your damn question. Personally I don't know, but if i did, i'd tell ya! I suggest looking at the build threads for your motor, and see what others have used. Works better then asking a legit question and getting life lessons that you are already well aware of.
