$680 for quality full coilovers is amazing, someone grab these, I don't need them I already have Tanabes.

i believe the product got discontinued and they are not fully adjustable as megans or ksports. Ksports are known to be stiff however

i have ksports and tiga does too... i like them. have um set pretty stiff. tow truck drivers hate lowered cars just an fyi! haha might be goin lower soon!

the only thing about these coils are that they DO NOT Have a place to mount the brake line. you will havta fabricate something for the line to secure to!

This might sound like a dumb question, but whats the highest ride height you can set them to? can you actually see some wheel gap, or is the highest setting still really slammed?

Problem is that I drive the car every single day, so I dont know if coilovers are the best idea for what I want. I would actually like to raise the car a little higher so that it would get better ride quality and have a little more clearance in the winter. The last thing I would want to do is end up with a car that is more lowered than it is now. I'm a firm believer that the best car is the car that strikes a balance between handling and ride quality. What good is it to stiffen up your car when you have to slow down for every crack in the road? Are you really getting the most out of your setup by doing that?

I've been thinking of actually going with all new kyb shocks and getting prokit 1in drop springs instead of the 1.5in sportlines I have now.

^ WHAT! No, don't get Pro Kit springs. The 1.5" drop is fine, I just installed GR-2's and Sportlines last Saturday. In fact, I wouldn't mind going a bit lower, but I won't pass judgment until a full week passes. I'm extremely happy with the ride quality though. It's slightly firm yet comfortable. And the clearance is fine as well, unless you're going through a foot of snow. In short, keep your setup.

Its a little different on your car because you have the lighter 7afe engine. The 3s is heavier and it actually makes the front end sit a lot lower. I think it would still look very much lowered with a prokit on there and I wouldn't be blowing out shocks all the time.

lagos, i know with the tanabe coilovers you can go up to stock height with lots of wheel gap. i set them as high as they will go for winter and as low as they will go for summer. remember that 225/45/17s are about an inch taller than 205/55/15s so you would need the prokit just to get to stock height. but as you said you have the heavier engine.

Megans have brackets to mount the brake line, funny thing though is that the thread is on the wrong side so I had to bend the bracket enough for the hose to reach and mount.

And I have new struts in addition to that, so your blown ones probably have something to do with that as well. I have a comfortable two-finger gap in front and a tighter two-finger gap in back as of right now, so with all new struts, there is plenty of clearance.
