So I did one tail the other day, and figured I'd post up the difference, and how well it worked!

Nite

Doing the other tonight, actually just waiting for it to dry along with the front turns and side markers! can wait to see what it looks like

Yup, there is zero difference in visibility. It's a nice compromise IMO because they're not exactly dark, yet tinted enough to set them apart from stock tails.

I used 3/4 of a can of niteshades and have a glossy finish...the key is to wipe the tail lite down good with rubbing alcohol and don't touch the lense after wiping it to avoid oily finger prints on it! and spray many lite coats and give it time in between to tack up before applying more lite coats!...for $12.00 made a big difference...you can use a gloss clear over it after 12-24 hours of drying...I think it will look good on your red car..

Thanks alot! really wanted to see it with the invader rear! (just put mine on) is there just any glossy finish? and does the glossy finish make it less visible at night? thanks-

So i bought some nite shade today but want to see what its gonna look like before I go doing it.
I realize it will prob look like **** with my red car (or maybe not) but after i get the rest of the bodykit put on I am repainting the car black.
Anyone think it looks good with a black car, or red>? thanks!

spoolski had a red car with tinted tails...it will look good dont worry

Mine are tinted as well

this is at night in a parking garage

and just regular

red and black will look good....just as said above...nice even light coats, and if you want them glossy you can always pick up a can of clear coat and use the same even light coat method..they will turn out great..dont worry

just be sure to keep the can far away...at least 12" and do VERY light coats...wait like 5 minutes and just spray over it again...you don't want any heavy coats on it or any drips!!!! I went really dark on mine and the visibility is still great with it!!! i will take a pic 4 u 2nite k?
