In my auto st, theres no light down by my shifter showing weather i'm going from park to drive or anything like that. is there supposed to be a light that comes on or what?

its not a light, just a colored piece (orange) there is a backlight though

There is a light that illuminates the "PRND12" stuff, with the red tab that shows what you in.

Uh...it is illuminated, so I would assume there is a bulb there...just sayin.
