no need to spend 100-200+ dollars for something that is probably not as short and cheap. just buy one on ebay for 15 bucks. Although I do love OEM/TRD stuff, I heard the height was taller and it sounds believe because it is OEM/TRD specs which they are not aggressive.

i tried looking up ebay for the 6th gen TRD QuickShifter and they don't have what im looking for. I also checked and emailed several dealers if they have it in stock (cause we all know it's discontinued). only one replied so far, and its been 48 hours+:

Hello,

Unfortunately to say that quick shifter has been discontinued and we cannot get one for you. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

that was from www.trdsparks.com btw.

Other websites that I emailed who did not reply makes me a little skeptical about buying the TRD QuickShifter from them. I'm hard in the head and only willing to spend $ only specifically on TRD QuickShifter. Any suggestions? I was thinking of just buying it from trdsource and call it done deal. =)

Is the TWM shorter than a 7th gen short shifter, it appears so in the pics, however, the TRD one should be much higher than the 7th gen based on the only 40% throw compared toa 7th gen 60% improvement.

Sorry to revive a dead thread. Just curious.. None of the kits come with the cup remover tool. Is it possible to do the mod without this part?

Thanks

http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Car-Truck-Part...op=15&_sc=1

here's a search, its not tied to a single item, so it should stay active longer.

I installed mine last saturday. The only thing that i had a problem with was punching out the pin in the rear of the shifter assembly. my pin was hollow, so I had a hard time finding something large enough to punch the pin out, but small enough to still be used as a punch. I found an allen wrench which worked great. I'm not sure what size it was, but it probably came in some furniture that I had bought sometime. yes, its ghetto, but it worked.

I had just a little trouble, because the bottom of the shifter was clipped into the cup on the shifter cable. I used a screw driver and a pair of needlenose pliers to get it off. If that's not it, then post pics and I can help talk you through it.
