My thermostat seems to be toasted.
The car would indicate that it's below the C line even after driving for 30 mins

It would means that the car is running rich and have a high idle to protect the "cold" engine right?

my quesiton is
is there a guide to for thermostat replacement on the GT-four?

I got the ST205 & 3SGTE repair manual supplement pdf
is the thermostat the same as the "intake air temperature sensor"?

Anyone have the parts number for the 3s-gte thermostat?
I come from a pretty cold place so I don't think I'll need a TRD low temp thermostat.

hardly
and not when the temperature gauge shows C

it does blow hot air after driving around for a while, then idle for 5 mins
the gauge would show it's warming up and start blowing hot air
then I would go driving and the gauge would show it's cooled down and no more heat.

so I'm guessing the thermostat is stuck open.

Yep, I think you're right on the money there about the thermostat being stuck open.

oops
I guess i need to buy the gasket as part of the replacement.

Sounds like as part of the repair I'll need to drain and replace the radiator fluid?

Yep and some will come out, a decent amount, it's just a good thing to go ahead and change out your fluid if it's been a while anyways.
