It looks absolutely amazing! only what I would like to know is how you have changed that clock color? I tried to replace cover to other color but never got that perfect red (just pink)...

ok guys,

The speedo has had a converter chip wired into the back of the cluster to change it to read MPH from KPH, it also now clock up in miles too.

I used these to change to dials from SSIII amber to Red. ebay red silicon wedge bulb covers
I also used these silicon covers on the 2 bulbs that back light the climate control.

To change the climate control button LEDS form green, I used these 3mm red LEDS Just had to unsolder the old ones and re-solder in the new ones. These LEDs were also used in changing the driver window button light too.

In the cigg lighter I used a 5mm Red LED with a resistor so it would not blow.

The ignition ring light was easy, just pulled out the wedge bulb and uses one of these red ones from here R286 bulb

And finally the clock, I used a deep red lighting gel from a free colour swatch. Cut out a template from the original clock filter and replaced it with the new cut out.

Being a Jap import, it would be limited to 112mph, but since i have the chip fitted it will now be de-restricted. So the Celica will go as fast as the Beams engine will allow 137mph?

Some kits come with stickers, depends where you get it from.

Would you mind showing me how you put that led in the cigarette lighter? Right now I have two "turquoise" streetglow LEDs in there with a lighting gel filter wrapped around the clear part of the ring (I disassembled the entire unit to get to it) and it doesn't even show during the day - however it is the teal blue color I want at night.

I'm wondering how yours is so bright with a single 5mm led?

my mistake, the LED in the cigg lighter is infact a SMD led. Got it from here link

I had to remove it from the round holder, was then left with the square led with to metal legs which i soldered into the cigg lighter bulb holder.

hey Wintersun, your red interior light is amazing

about the clock, I've tried to find some lighting gel colour swatch, but the best I could find was the following which is a bit too expensive:

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=red+light...6.c0.m270.l1313

I just need that deep red btw

Thanks in advance

BocaJ: That booklet is a free sample pack from a paint store, Just ask for one.

Wintersun: Looking really good! Your red lighting seems to have come out nicer than mine. What happened to your GT-Four?
