Any LED should work. You probably have your polarity reversed though - the flat side of the LED is the cathode, negative, and the other side is the anode, positive. (I think, I always get the two mixed up.)

In any case, if you look in that thread, the flat side is negative, so make sure your flat side is on the same side as that picture.

Trust me I tried that, it came out of a clock that was AC instead of DC, I don't know if that would make a difference or not but it worked when it was in the clock.....

i have three units done and ready to ship... as soon as i get to the PO they will be sent out...

as always... i am pretty far behind on these... i also picked up a second job so i'm limited to about 3-5 hours a week to work on these... it takes me 8 hours to do one... you do the math

sending out ASAP:
TRDproven
ESPO
WIREDGREEN

i do not have new timeframes on those waiting for their unit... when they get done, they get done

i'm not trying to be a jerk but with my current jobs, i lose a good amount of money on these (payment vs. hours of work), i do these for the community of 6gc cause i think, well they look dam good in our cars, and this is a way a feel i can pay this community back for all of its knowledge; you can ask anyone on the forums how good they look and that they are worth the wait... however, with that being said, if anyone would like a refund - PLEASE PM ME! i have a long list of people wanting these so i would be happy to sell yours to someone else

I did my own a few years ago. I do have a question though. My LED that is in the air circulation controls. The one on the right. seems to have issues. same with the one in the A/C controls. I remember saudering these and they were sketchy then. Any advice on these?

Same, minus the PM.

I know earlier in this thread you had issues with payment at the post office...same thing or what's up?
