 300zx help, Updated: pics on pg 2 |

I looked at a '92 300ZX once. It was a quick car, seemed to be taken care of. The only thing I really know about them is that they allegedly aren't a great platform for a project car. But then again, neither is a 6gc. One of these car has power to the correct wheels. I say go for it, dude.

Holy crap, was that thing driven in reverse? If you don't have any big plans for it, it seems like a nice car. Not something I'd like to start a project with though.

looks in great shape! All I've heard of is they are very hard to work on as the engine is so tight in the engine bay, and they have overheating problems because of it, I've heard of clutches going frequently and being a bitch to change other than that it shouldn't be much worse than a normal car and normal things will go.

My buddy has two 300zx twin turbo's and we went to look at one that was n/a and it was reaalll slow, I would say wait til you can find a twin turbo, but thats just my opinion. And Im not really feeling the colour either, unless your planning to build it.

I just happened upon this deal. Turbo doesn't matter to me, the 220hp v6 is plenty juice for my needs. Also I read on the 300zx forums the turbos "die" (i dont know much about turbos, so don't beat me up too bad) at around 120k and im not looking for extra expenses. Not planning any kinda build for the car, maybe an intake system and exhaust in the future but not intending to turbo or anything beyond those basics. thanks to everyone for your help.... ill post more pix if i end up getting it.
