Talk about inflated shipping.... I've shipped a GT4 front end across the country for that much.

Yes they are rare. You have to remember though that it's "eBay". One of the best places to get super awesome deals or a place to get completely ripped off. A lot of these guys who sell these rare items capitalize on what us American's will pay. Even the guys who live here on the states and import JDM parts and re sales them also rip us off with the shipping quotes. Now $700 for a TRD cluster from a ST205 is way to much money. For that price you can get the whole JDM projector set head lights. What you can do is go on the eBay of UK and get a cluster that goes to 180mph for much less. I've seen them go for $2-$300 less. Even the rare Tom's cluster go for even more than what you seen for the TRD cluster. I would just get the standard GT-Four cluster for less and possibly swap in the USDM MPH speedo.
Just my opinion. |

you could have your own made for waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less then that,
my speedo is a JDM one which goes up to 120mph (180km/h) it also means my car was limited to 112mph from the factory. i fitted a km/h-mph converter chip (£12 on ebay) which changes/slows down the speed signal so the dash read in mph, it meant 1km/h on dash i was going 1mph (180km/h = 180mph), i then fitted a new dial face which had large numbers on the outside up to 180mph and small numbers on the inside up to 300km/h, if you wanted a TRD face putting on that only shows km/h up to 300km/h with a TRD badge on it then i would do it this cheap & easy way this is my dial face before i changed them for a set of custom white with red back lighting ones -------------------- |
